Intel® Teach Program U.S.
How to Get Involved

Participation begins with Local Education Agency (LEA) involvement

The Intel® Teach Program is implemented through a train-the-trainer model. A Local Education Agency (LEA), usually a state agency, district, or school, applies to participate in the program; LEAs are selected to participate based on their strength of commitment to program requirements. Upon acceptance, training and materials are provided free to LEAs, and the LEA identifies Master Teachers who are at least intermediate computer users and have experience with technology integration.

Master Teachers, leaders among their peers and experienced in integrating technology into curriculum, then recruit and train Participant Teachers, typically their colleagues. The result is teachers learning from other teachers best practices for how, when, and where technology can enhance student learning, while aligning to state and national standards.

Apply to Participate
Your Local Education Agency (LEA), usually a school district, may already be participating in the Intel® Teach Program.

To ensure success for this program, it is essential to involve district level staff that can make time and support commitments. This is why it is required that a LEA completes an application for approval into the program. By obtaining approval as an LEA, it is then possible for Master Teachers to attend training.

Your LEA may already be involved. Please email Customer Support with the name of your school, school district, city and state, to learn next steps.
