First Aid: Are you always safe? Grade: 5-6, Science Young assistant doctors of emergency task force are given the task to prepare a first aid kit for their school. The assistant doctors prepare slide show to demonstrate its usage. They arrange for “Safety Awareness Day” to spread awareness about different precautions for emergencies and the steps to be followed before proper medication.
Eureka: How can science contribute in human progress? Grade: 5-8, Social Studies, English (Grammar), Science In this unit, students will learn how scientific inventions have changed the course of human activity, and thereby human history. Students investigate and rank scientific inventions using Visual Ranking Tool in order of its impact on human lives. As a culminating activity, they propose an invention to make our life better.

Back to School : How can I contribute to making a better tomorrow? Grade: 7, Social Studies, Environmental Studies, Mathematics, Statistics Seventh grade students’ analyse the causes and evolve strategies to arrest drop-out rates in their village. They persuade parents to shift priorities and allow their children to return to the classroom.
Beat the heat: How can we make a difference? Grade: 7, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Mathematics, Language Arts Young environmentalists, investigate silent crimes against our environment. They share knowledge about the environmental issues and conduct an awareness campaign for making students and parents aware about global warming. |

Natural Power Pack: How do we empower our village? Grade: 9, Science and Social science The mystery of nature is such that it has many hidden resources to solve our own problems. In this project, students solve one such problem by making use of waste to generate non–conventional energy to empower the village.
Red Ribbon: Children for Red Ribbon cause Grade: 9, Social Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Language, Arts and Drama Children from Corporation School explore AIDS problem in red alert state–Tamilnadu, India and create awareness about the stigma attached to the disease and provide suggestion to mitigate AIDS spread.
The Energy Which Never Ends: How can I contribute to making a better tomorrow? Grade: 9-10, Physics, Environmental Studies, Mathematics High school students create awareness about energy crisis and the significance of solar energy among the community. They design a solar cooker to be used by the community effectively.
The Art of Growing: Are we crossing our limits? Grade: 9-10, Science, Social Studies, Statistics, Language, Computer Science High school students as members of “Centre for Agriculture and Rural Development” analyse the impact of use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides on environment and suggest strategies to overcome their adverse effects.
Microbes - Invisible Invaders, Amazing Allies: Can our friends be our foes? Grade: 9-10, Science Microbes are fascinating and intriguing organisms. They are miniscule powerhouses that have worldwide impact when they cause disease, improve health, and sustain ecosystems. In this unit, students as junior microbiologists investigate the role microbes play in our lives and the world around us. They use the Showing Evidence Tool*, to dig deeper into understanding whether the microbes are a boon or a bane. Again using the Seeing Reason Tool* they study the cause and effect of microbial diseases and epidemic outbreak. The students also make the community aware about the precautions against microbial diseases and suggest strategies to improve hygienic living conditions in the community.
