What is it like right now in our sister city?

This graph shows the temperature here in Portland, where we live, and the temperature in our sister city, Melbourne, Australia. We chose to compare our weather with Melbourne, because it is in the opposite place of us on the globe. Our summer and fall is pretty hot, but in Melbourne, it is not very warm. But during winter and spring when our temperatures go down, it is really hot in Melbourne. Our seasons are opposite!

Portland is at 45º 36’ N 122º 36’ W. Melbourne is at 37º 47’ S 144º 58’ E.
